Come riprendere a camminare dopo frattura?

Dopo la riduzione della frattura e dopo aver bloccato la gamba, si può fare la fisioterapia per: Imparare ad utilizzare le stampelle, un bastone o un deambulatore, Velocizzare la formazione del callo osseo, Fare gli esercizi per anca e ginocchio in modo da non indebolire tutti i muscoli dell'arto inferiore.

Cosa succede dopo una frattura?

La fase di infiammazione è il primo stadio di guarigione. In questa fase iniziale, gli osteoclasti (cellule che erodono l'osso) sciolgono e riciclano i detriti ossei. La seconda fase “riparativa” inizia circa due settimane dopo la frattura.

Come si cura la frattura del calcagno?

Trattamento delle fratture del calcagno.
Consulto con uno specialista ortopedico..
Talvolta protezione (solitamente con un tutore), riposo, ghiaccio, compressione e sollevamento..
Ingessatura (quando il gonfiore si è ridotto).
Eventualmente, intervento chirurgico..
Fisioterapia dopo la guarigione..

Quando si opera il calcagno?

Solitamente il chirurgo ortopedico mira a trattare le fratture del calcagno quando sono considerate gravi, per accelerare il recupero e ridurre il dolore e la deformità. Possono essere utilizzate placche, viti e/o fili sulla base del tipo di frattura e in base alle decisioni del chirurgo che esegue l'operazione.
